Day Outings and Longer Visit

Tues 7th Fri 10th May 2019

4 day holiday to Norfolk

This year our garden break is based at the Pheasant Hotel at Kelling near Holt on the North Norfolk coast.

During the holiday we expect to be visiting the following gardens:

West Acre Walled Garden & Nursery. This unusual "D" shaped walled garden displays plants for every aspect and situation. They will certainly inspire the visitor with fresh ideas for their own garden and are available to purchase at the attached nursery.

Stody Lodge Gardens. This garden, famed for its rhododendrons and azaleas, should be at its best at the time of our visit.

Corpusty Mill Garden. A garden, designed in the second half of the 20th century, with both classical and contemporary design features incorporated into a luxuriant and varied planting.

and two other gardens yet to be arranged......

We will also have time to visit the pretty Georgian town of Holt and enjoy a scenic drive along the beautiful north Norfolk coast.

Sunday 30th June

A return visit to the lovely gardens created by the late Geoff Hamilton for BBC2's Gardeners' World television programme.

More details will be in your newsletter nearer the time.

Saturday 19th October

Another return visit: this time to the RHS Gardens at Wisley in Surrey. Our last visit was in Spring, so this time we're making it an autumn outing, where you can see the orchard laden with fruit and the trees ablaze with spectacular autumn colour. The date coincides with the RHS "Taste of Autumn" event - a harvest celebration where you can browse more than 30 stalls packed with local artisan food and drink
